Disruptive Students:
The purpose of the school is to provide an education for each of its students.
This purpose cannot be served if students disrupt the school.
Neither teachers nor the administrative
staff shall tolerate disruptive students after efforts have been made to help
the students change their behavior.
Disciplinary
Action will be taken if students choose to
violate classroom and/or school-wide expectations.
The following misconduct is
considered serious and an Out of School Suspension will be issued immediately:
1.
Fighting
or responding to a fight
2.
Profanity
to an adult (teacher, teacher’s aide, secretary, lunchroom workers, custodian)
3.
Insubordination
to an adult-refusing to do as requested or instructed by an adult
4.
Severe
classroom disruption
5.
Failure
to report to the office or time-out
The
above misconduct will result in an external suspension, which will be
determined, by the principal or assistant principal from this evaluation of the
circumstances.
